Continued Investment in CNC Capability Supports Growth at Stadium Export Services

Stadium Export Services has further enhanced its in-house manufacturing capabilities with the addition of a second CNC router and a brand-new extraction system. This investment is in response to growing customer demand and increased project volume, as well as aiming to improve operational efficiency across the business.

The CNC machines are integral to Stadiums case manufacturing operations, allowing the production of precision-cut plywood components and package inserts that form the backbone of the sites bespoke export packaging solutions.

Following the success of the first CNC machine, which quickly reached full capacity, it became clear that additional machining capability was essential to keep up with demand. With new project variants being introduced, the pressure on production only increased.

To assist our customer to meet their delivery goals, Stadium invested in a second CNC router. This high-performance machine routes out profiles and etches 18mm plywood sheets with precision, working directly from customer drawings to ensure accurate and repeatable results.

Rather than investing in multiple separate extraction systems for each piece of equipment, the team opted for a single, more efficient system that services both CNC machines and an additional saw.

By locating the new system externally, air quality has improved on the shop floor and streamlined maintenance, managing one high-performing unit instead of three smaller, less efficient ones. This is a significant upgrade that reinforces our commitment to workplace wellbeing and sustainability.

The original CNC router brought with it a five-year project focused on high-volume case production, which has made a notable impact for the business. The addition of the second machine further strengthens the company’s position, ensuring it can continue delivering at pace while opening doors to new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
